2. A real estate broker’s licence may be restricted
(1)  to residential brokerage; or
(2)  to commercial brokerage.
A restricted licence is issued to a natural person who makes a licence application in accordance with section 1, passes the training program and passes the required examination prepared by the Organization for the particular restriction.
A licence holder who passes the training program and passes the required examination may have the restricted licence modified to hold a real estate broker’s licence with no restriction.
